You're Seeing This First

Dear Reader,

Before we share it anywhere else, we wanted you—our wonderful newsletter subscribers—to be the very first to see something special. Oh, and how about a little giveaway? Read on for all the info in our February newsletter! 😁

Catching Feelings—Cover Reveal!

Drumroll, please… Here’s the cover for Catching Feelings, the third and final book in the Scottish Single Dads series:

Isn’t it gorgeous? We’re absolutely smitten with the character art of Douglas and Ellie, brilliantly created by the fantastic Ivanna Nashkolna (who’s now done the character art for all three books in the series).

This story follows Douglas Fraser, a rugged fisherman and devoted single dad to a pair of whirlwind twins. He’s steadfast to his core, always putting his children first, even when his own needs and wants quietly slip to the bottom of the list.

And then there’s Ellie Macpherson, Ardmara’s sweet librarian—a quiet wallflower who’s yet to bloom. She’s been harbouring a secret yearning for Douglas for years, but soon that carefully guarded crush will slip into the open, and neither of them is prepared for what happens next.

Catching Feelings releases on April 16, 2026, and you can pre-order it now:

Next month, we’ll be revealing the back-cover description, again giving our lovely newsletter subscribers the very first look. 👀💕

Audiobook Giveaway Alert 🎧

Our very first audiobook released one month ago today! Thanks to our audio publisher, Tantor, we’ve got a few audiobook copies of The Highland Kiss to give away to our newsletter subscribers.

The narrators have done such an incredible job bringing Ally and Emily to life. Let’s just say we may have replayed the ruined castle scene… and the office scene… more than a few times (for quality control purposes, obviously 😏).

To be in with a chance of winning, simply reply to this email and let us know you’re interested. We’ll pick a few names at random on Monday, and we’ll be in touch with you if you’ve won. 🎉

Quick note: you’ll need a Spotify account to claim the audiobook, but a free account will do. If you don’t have one, it’s really easy to create one.

Soggy Scotland Update ☔

In Scotland, rain is hardly uncommon, but this month it’s been absolutely chucking it down.

Even Daisy—who normally doesn’t mind a wee splash on her walks (she is a spaniel after all)—has been feeling rather fed up with the soggy weather. She’s taken to insisting on being wrapped up in her favourite fleece blanket the moment we get home, as you can see here:

The silver lining? All that rain leads to the most vibrant, beautiful flowers come springtime. We’re already spotting the first brave daffodils poking through, and honestly, we can’t wait for more colour in our wee garden.

Scotland in the News

After some uncertainty, Scottish football fans WILL be allowed to wear sporrans at the World Cup in the US this summer.

Ice hockey, which has never exactly been a mainstream sport in Scotland, has found new fans since the release of Heated Rivalry.

Did you watch the Winter Olympics? This video shows the Scottish island where every curling stone in the world comes from.

xx,
